  • Hello, from a webtrends account I currently have profiles for a web of a domain and now I have a subdomain but I do not know how to create the profile to analyze the data.

  • Child profiles are no longer a supported feature of Webtrends. The process for creating a profile for a subdomain is the same process as creating a profile for any domain. If you are using the SDC application to generate logs, then I would recommend creating a separate datasource for the subdomain. However, If you are analyzing standard web log files, then you will need to create a filter based on "Multi Homed Domain".
The following link will describe how to create profile level hit filters.
